The Colossus Rises

This is the 1st 7 Wonders book of the series! It's basically about an Atlantian power source that the Queen Qalani divided into 7 Loculi. They went to Greece to find the Colossus Rhodes, and as you know I like Greek Mythology.

Heroes of Olympus: House of Hades

It's been a while since I read this book. Annabeth and Percy fall to Tarturus. There, they find a lot of monsters. 

Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus

This is the last Heroes Of Olympus book! In this book, the 12 gods of Olympus help the Heroes Of Olympus defeat the Giants. Because books about mythology are fun, I recommend this book 

Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard

This book is the first book of the Gods Of Asgard's series. In this book, Magnus Chase goes to Valhalla. There, he finds out that he is a son of Frey.

Your Mother Was a Neanderthal

This book is one of the time warp trio books.  The time warp trio characters go back to the Stone Age. I recommend reading this book because it tells you more about the Stone Age. I didn't really learn about anything from the book, but it's pretty fun.

Ed Emberley: MAKE A WORLD

This is a drawing book for beginners. I made a comic strip, a sign, and a card all from this book!

The Kane Chronicles: Survival Guide

This is a survival guide like no other.  As you can see, the front has a holographic cover, but that's just the beginning. (I mean, literally.)

Heroes of Olympus: Mark of Athena

This is the third Heroes of Olympus. "The Mark of Athena" is an owl.  Annabeth follows it to Arachne's hideout and tricks Arachne into weaving her own prison: Chinese Handcuffs.  But Annabeth calls them Chinese Spidercuffs.

It's All Greek To Me

Fred, Joe, and Sam go into their own play!  The Book warped them into the play when they opened it.   The play is about the 7 Gods Of Olympus.

Da Wild, Da Crazy, Da Vinci

Fred, Joe, and Sam go back in time to the 1500s.  There they meet Leonardo Da Vinci,  and as soon as they find hIm, they find The Book.  The Book lets them warp through time and space.  But they also meet Nassti, a nasty army captain. They play a crack-your-head trick on Nassti.

D'Aulaires' Book of Greek Myths

This is a book about Greek myths. One is about Echo, Who was a talkative nymph. Hera cursed her to repeat the last words of others. Another one is about Io, who was turned into a cow to escape Hera's wrath, and was guarded by Argus, the 1,000 eyed guard of Io. 

I personally like this book because I like myths.

Sea of Monsters graphic novel

This is the second graphic novel of Percy Jackson.   Graphic novels are like silent movies, because they have pictures.  

In this book Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson go on a quest to save Grover, well, Percy does. And they also get the Golden Fleece.  The original  retriever of the Golden Fleece was Jason.

The pictures were comical.

Heroes of Olympus: Son of Neptune

In the Son of Neptune, at the beginning, Percy had to fight Gorgons.  Percy goes to Camp Jupiter and is greeted by new friends.  This is the third Heroes of Olympus book.

It was interesting when I found out Frank's life depended on a burnt stick.  Frank is related to Meleager.

Heroes Of Olympus: The Lost Hero

Jason, son of Zeus, has an Imperial Gold coin that he can flip.  If it lands on one side, it turns into sword made of Imperial Gold. If it lands on the other side, it turns into a lance made of Imperial Gold.  

Leo, son of Hephestus, has a rechargeable magic tool belt.  He can ask for anything and put his hand into his tool belt and pull it out.  If it's something too big, he can't pull it out. Once he said, "Gimme the biggest hammer you've got."  The tool belt gave him a hammer that you use to beat a drum.

Piper, daughter of Aphrodite, can charm-speak anyone or anything into doing what she wants them to.  Not many children of Aphrodite can charm-speak.  So it's either a blessing or a warning.  So if you find yourself telling anyone to do something and they do it instantly, you might be a child of Aphrodite!

The Valley Of The Lost

This is the last book of the Quest! There are 8 books total; 7 Deltora Quest, 1 not. In this book, they meet The Guardian of the mighty Diamond.

TSS (The Serpent's Shadow)

This is the 3rd and final book of The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan.  Carter and Sadie, along with with other magicians and gods, felled Apophis, god of Chaos!

Beyond the Spiderwick: The Wyrm King

The Wyrms created sinkholes! The Giants ate the Wyrms. Eventually, the Giants distracted the Wyrms and Nicholas cut The Wyrm King apart.  This is the last book of the series.

A Giant Problem

This is the second book of the Beyond The Spiderwick Chronicles. Fire-breathing giants burn down almost all of Florida! I think that in the next book the Giants will kill the Wyrms.

This book is like a field guide for Deltora.  It tells us all about the gems, where to find them, their guardians, their tribe, and much more. It tells us the dangers and ways to keep safe in the gem's territories.

Beyond The Spiderwick Chronicles:The Nixie's Song

In Mangrove Hollow, Nick Varcas and Laurie Varcas find a Nixie. A Nixie is a water-dwelling færie. Færies aren't what you think they are, you know.

Spiderwick 5: Mulgarath's Wrath

At the end of this book, Mulgarath is defeated. Hogsqueal eats Mulgarath in bird form. All of Mulgarath's curses are broken along with him.  Finally, the Grace family and their færie friends celebrate Mulgarath's defeat.

Beastologist 4: The Unicorn's Tale

This book was fun because Nathaniel and Aunt Phil find out that a certain unicorn is foaling, which hasn't happened in years!  This is the second and last time they see Obediah.  Obediah died at the hand of a unicorn horn.  This is the last book in the series.

Beastologist 3: Wyverns' Treasure

Nathaniel doesn't know much about Wyverns, another name for Dragons. He finds out more about this mythical creature from Aunt Phil.  Wyverns are attracted to treasure.  He encounters one and it demands treasure.   He gives it a dud egg (some people, not knowing what they are, call it a geode), which was not actually a dud.

 

Spiderwick 4: The Ironwood Tree

In this book, Jared, Mallory, and Simon find a changeling.  The changeling took the form of Mallory and Jared.  There is a connection between Sleeping Beauty and this book, because Mallory is asleep in a glass coffin and Simon slaps her cheek to awaken her.  The Ironwood Tree is the fourth book out of a five-book series.  

Deltora quest 6: The Maze of the Beast

In this book, Barda, Lief, and Jasmine encounter The Glus in The Maze Of The Beast!  They go through a lot of trouble to find the Amethyst Gem of Deltora in a pillar.

Spiderwick Chronicles 3

In this book, Jared, Simon, and Mallory find a Phooka.  A Phooka is a shape-shifting færie.  It speaks in riddles, just like Thimbletack!  

Lucinda is a daughter of Arthur Spiderwick (from the Field Guide).  She was taken away to an asylum when her sister saw the cuts and bruises from goblins and thought that she was cutting herself and bruising herself. 

Boggarts are usually the ones that pinch you black and blue.

Spiderwick Chronicles 2: The Seeing Stone

Can you believe that Hobgoblin spit can give you The Sight!? There are other ways that give you The Sight, though. Here are some examples: The Seeing Stone, Faerie bath water, and Hobgoblin spit, which as you can see I already mentioned! 

Beastologist 2: The Basilisk's Lair

The Basilisk is from Harry Potter, but there are some things that are different from the Harry Potter Basilisk.  Here's some examples: its poisonous breath, its chicken features, and its scales. Similar to the Harry Potter basilisk, its stare is enough to petrify a full-grown man at 20 paces.

Beastologist 1: The Flight of the Phoenix

I got this book from the secondary library. It was about a Phoenix laying it's egg. You should read it! The next book is called The Basilisk's Lair! Do you know what will happen to him in the next book?

In this book, the The Gem Of Deltora they find is the Emerald. They go to find the Gem at the Dread Mountains. They get it by turning the Guardian of the Gem into a tree. Ha Ha.😄

Deltora quest 4

When Lief, Barda, and Jasmine escape The City Of Rats, they have to face loads of violence and enemies of all kinds.  The Gem Of Deltora they find is the Lapiz Lazul.

Spiderwick chronicles 1

This book is about a boy that finds a field guide about faeries and how to catch and see them.  The boy, Jared Grace, finds the book in the attic.  He read the book and then unleashed a brownie named Thimbletack.

Kane Chronicles- Throne of Fire

This book is about awakening Ra from his deep sleep and saving the world.  Carter and Sadie's magical talent grows more powerful in this book.  There's only one more book in the series left.

Pip Bartlett's Guide

There were three animals out of the many magical creatures that are from Harry Potter: the Grim, the Hippogriff, and the Unicorn.  Pegasus was from Percy Jackson.  One that was not from any of the above was the HobGrackle. Its sweat could melt metal!  There's a next book coming out called Pip Bartlett's Guide to Training Unicorns.

Spiderwick's field guide

Have you seen this movie before? This book is about magical creatures & faeries. From flip-up pictures to life like illustrations, it's all FUN!!!  In the movie,Thimbletack speaks in rhymes. Here is 1 example of when he did: Circle,circle,little jerkle little jerkle broke the circle. That part was funny! In the book,Thimbletack wasn't that special.😕
